PlayOn is what prompted me to buy the lifetime PlexPass. I also use an HDHomeRun tuner to do some DVR on OTA TV. It's quite slick having everything in one place. level 2 I use playon and plex. I love it. I've also dumped some movies and all of our music on plex. It works great for me streaming to a two rokus, phones, ipads, etc. I can only guess what the problem might be with the shows not showing up in plex. The biggest issue is usually how they are named. Depending on where you are recording from, the shows Plex Server doesn’t have a dedicated app and to check on the server or upload content, I have to open the web portal every time. openPHT is a third-party add-on that provides an intuitive front-end for the Plex media server. Yes it still does (as on January 2020). But IPTV on Plex does not work as well as it used to before 2019.. Until about mid 2019, it was possible to watch IPTV on Plex using plugins.
